THE VOTE COMES UP APRIL 8TH

 Assemblyman Kevin De Leon introduced AB 2062, an anti-ammunition bill

 1) Ammunition vendors must be licensed and a registry of handgun
 ammunition vendors would be established by the government.

 2) The ammunition vendors would have to licensed under a program run by
 the Department of Defense.

 3) Limits sales to 50 rounds of handgun ammunition a month if the vendor
 is not registered. This also means no transfer between family and friends.

 4) Background checks for all employees who handle the handgun ammunition.

 5) No mail order sales, severe restrictions on private transfer of
 handgun ammunition and all transactions must be in person and can't be
 sold without a salespersons assistance.

 6) A thumb print is required to purchase handgun ammunition and this is
 sent to the Department of Justice.

 7) The issuance of the handgun ammunition permit is to be used at the
 time of purchase

 8) Increased identification is required to purchase ammunition and the
 DOJ would maintain the records.

 9) There are lists of people not permitted to buy handguns an additional
 list would be made for those not allowed to buy ammunition.

 10) The permit information would be included on your drivers license.

 11)  Fee for a permit to purchase $35 and wait up to 30 days for the
 permit plus a $3 per transaction tax.
