Straight Arrow Bowhunters, Inc. - Purpose Statement
The purpose of Straight Arrow Bowhunters, Inc. is to:
foster, expand and perpetuate bowhunting and field archery in Northern California
foster and perpetuate a spirit of good-fellowship among all archers
labor to support and standardize field archery tournament competition
provide education and assistance in the field of archery to local youths
promote local and state legislative proposals that benefit archery enthusiasts
cooperate with legitimate wild life organizations in the conservation of game animals
encourage use of the bow in the taking of legal game
work in consort with the California Bow Hunters/State Archery Association and the National Field Archery Association, Inc. in securing hunting rights and privileges for bow hunters
as a provision of membership in this organization, it shall be the duty of each member to help maintain the range. Whenever it is possible, he shall be present at all work parties called for this purpose
